Tea traditionally prepared in a large bowl containing 1 or 2 chashaku teaspoon of tea mixed with 70ml of simmering water. The infusion is vigorously mixed by ‘chasen’ (a bamboo whisk) to obtain a light foam. A bitter liquor with strong vegetable note.
