Lavazza Qualità Oro was born in 1956, with the opening of the first Lavazza roasting plant in Turin. Luigi Lavazza had an idea that was to change the history of coffee: selecting and combining, for the first time, the finest qualities of Arabica from Brazil, Honduras, Panama, Mexico, Colombia and Peru and combining them in one blend. This is how the elegant Lavazza Qualità Oro blend was born.
